$95 Stolen from Merion Station Convent, Police Say

Envelopes were swiped from a drawer.

Someone stole envelopes of cash from a resident of the McAuley Convent in Merion Station earlier this month, according to Lower Merion police.

Sometime from Sept. 11 to Sept. 14, two envelopes containing a total of $95 were taken from a private drawer, the complainant said.

The convent is at 517 Montgomery Avenue in Merion Station, next to Merion Mercy Academy.
