2 Merion Station Burglaries Reported
Burglars succeeded in forcing open one door in the neighborhood, but not a second.
Residents of two Merion Station homes reported burglaries or attempted burglaries last week, Lower Merion police said.
- On the 300 block of Brookway Road, someone forced open a door to an attached garage sometime between 4:30 and 10 p.m. Saturday. Jewelry was stolen.
- An alarm activated on the 200 block of Valley Road about 9:20 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26. Police arrived to find fresh pry marks on a side door to the home. They determined that no one had been able to enter.
