Lower Merion Soccer Players Host Special Olympics Soccer Clinic
This past Wednesday, Aug. 29, the Lower Merion High School Boys Varsity and JV soccer players hosted a clinic for the Special Olympics Soccer Team from Delaware County.
There were over 40 Special Olympics players from Delaware County and over 30 players from Lower Merion High School that participated.
This is a tradition that has been ongoing for the last few years and this year was facilitated once again by former Lower Merion HS coach Bob Davidson and current Aces Coach Nicholas Severini and his coaching staff.

Players from LM played individual 1 v 1 games and ran skill drills with the Delco players. Games included scrimmages and small sided games. The drills included fundamentals in passing and dribbling. To finish the clinic, Lower Merion players and Delaware County players scrimmaged together. It was a great evening and all the participants had an extraordinary time.
