Get Out: Clover Market, Music Festival, BioBlitz and More

This week, enjoy a wide range of fun activities in the Ardmore area.  Clover Market is back for the fall, a local pub is starting up an "Ardmore Idol" karaoke contest, is hosting a benefit concert, and more.

  • When: Sunday, Sept. 16 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Where: The parking lot at 12 E. Lancaster Ave., Ardmore 19003 
  • Why Go: It's fall opening day at the Clover Market where you will find over 100 vendors with antiques & collectibles, vintage jewelry & clothing, art, fine crafts, handmade items as well as a delicious menu and crafts for the kids.  Bring a new or gently used children's book to the Main Line Parent table to donate to Reach out and Read Greater Philadelphia and receive a balloon for your child.

  • Why Go: Friends of Linwood Park and the Lower Merion Conservancy welcome you to take inventory of the birds, bees, bugs and plants at the park.  They will be gathering baseline data on the wildlife in the park, they need nature detectives to help them figure out what is working, what isn't and what is needed.  This is an all day event and open to children ages 5 and up with their parents.  .

  • Why Go: Saturday is the first night of Ardmore Idol at Maloney's.  There will be weekly prizes and a grand cash prize for the winner of the entire contest.  
  •  Cost: Free

  • When: Saturday, Sept. 15 from 6 - 9 p.m.
  • Where:
  • Why Go: Come support a good cause while listening to Blue Sky Band and Fusebox.  Pennsylvania has over 240,000 people living with brain injuries and more than 2,000 of them die each year because of these injuries.  The Brain Injury Association of Pennsylvania seeks to raise awareness and promote safer choices in order to decrease the incidences and severity of brain injuries.  So come enjoy live music, food, prizes all for a great cause.

  • When: Saturday Sept. 15 from noon - 9:30 p.m.
  • Where: Oakmont business area of Havertown
  • Why Go: Enjoy 30 live bands on three stages, beergardens, a craft village, moon bounce and food vendors.
  • Cost: Free
