Ardmore Named Top Spot for Young Families
Ardmore is named one of top towns in Pennsylvania for young families by Nerd Wallet.
Nerd Wallet recently released a list of the top Pennsylvania towns for young families, and Ardmore made the cut.
Ardmore ranked 11th on the list behind other Philly suburbs like Phoenixville, Broomall and Lansdale.
Helping Ardmore in the rankings was the high school rating given to the Lower Merion School District. Lower Merion scored a perfect 10 in the Nerd Wallet rankings.
Also helping Ardmore was its high median household income and the growth of income from 1999 to 2011
The top five best towns for young families in Pennsylvania are Jefferson Hills and Greenburgh outside of Pittsburgh, Phoenixville, Broomall and Lansdale.
