The Mainline’s Biggest Zumba Class benefiting Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation

In their continuing efforts to raise funds and awareness for the fight against childhood cancer, the Old Navy store in the Wynnewood Plaza is inviting area residents to participate in a Zumba Class to benefit the Foundation on Sunday, October 27, 2013 from 9-10am. The class, which will be available for a suggested donation of $10, will be led by instructors Nitra and Jennifer Glazer.

Zumba is an aerobic fitness program featuring movements inspired by various styles of Latin American dance and performed primarily to Latin American dance music. The event will be held in the parking lot outside of Old Navy, and hopes to be among the largest Zumba classes held in the area. Additionally, an Alex’s Lemonade Stand will be open for business.

In addition to this event, Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation is gearing up for the 5th Annual Lemon Run 5K on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at Memorial Hall in Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park. For more information or to register, visit: www.TheLemonRun.org.
