The Penn Wynne Civic Association is proud to present our Summer Hummer 15th Anniversary Celebration on Thursday, September 12th from 6 - 7:30 pm in Wynnewood Valley Park.
Our musical guest will be Beau Django, a Gypsy Swing band led by Jon Dichter, the founder and executive director of the Summer Hummer concert series from 1998 - 2008.
WXPN's Gene Shay will be back to MC the show, and Safiya Carter will be serving KOV (kosher, organic, vegan) coconut milk ice cream, just like old times!
The Vernalicious food truck, which won the People's Choice Award at the 2012 Vendy competition, will be serving homestyle comfort food, Ardmore's Hummus Grill will be on hand with outstanding Middle-Eastern fare and there will be pizza from Penn Wynne favorite Boston Style!
The event is rain or shine (rain location: Church of the Holy Apostles).
