Pickling Seasonal Vegetables

Registration: LMC Members: $35 / Non Members: $45

Join Marisa McClellan, author of Food in Jars: Preserving in Small Batches Year Round,
for an introduction to vinegar pickles. In this workshop, you’ll learn
the basics of boiling water bath canning, how to successfully pack a jar
of pickles, and how to safely tweak a recipe to suit your taste
buds. Marisa will bring some pickles from her pantry to share and will
happily answer all canning questions. All participants will go home with
a small jar of pickles. Meet at the Conservancy Cottage.
