Former native son Jim McCaffrey, who for 22 years covered news up and down the Main Line and in Philadelphia via the Main Line Times, Suburban & Wayne Times, Main Line Life, and The Bulletin, is facing a serious health crisis.
He has been diagnosed with Myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) and requires a bone marrow transplant.
His friends are hosting a fundraiser to help him with his expenses, as he will be unable to work for a year following treatment.
