Linwood Park Play Platform Design Charette for Children and Adults

Children and Adults Wanted to Help Design a Fun and Unique Play Platform

What:  A hands-on workshop geared toward children and their adult caregivers to help design a play platform for Linwood Park. Participants will be able to create 2D and 3D models of what their ideal play platform would look like (think really cool tree house without a tree) and/or write about what they would like to see built at the park.  The charrette will be facilitated by Roderick Wolfson, AIA, LEED AP of Wolfson Architect, the local architect who has been retained by the Friends of Linwood Park to design the platform. Members of the volunteer design committee will be on hand to work with small groups as well.  Participants will use a variety of natural and man made materials to create their masterpiece. We are happy to have Main Line Art Center, Bartlett Tree, Riverbend Environmental Education Center and Lower Merion Conservancy as partners for the charrette. Come with your imagination!
