Corner Bakery Cafe Supports Rosie's Senior Jamboree

Corner Bakery Cafe of Suburban Square, Ardmore will be hosting a table at Rosie’s Senior Jamboree (1420 Sussex Road, Wynnewood, PA) on July 17, from 11AM to 1PM. Corner Bakery will be giving out bottled water and treats to the seniors and volunteers.  Attendees can participate in games to win coupon prizes.


Rosie's Senior Jamboree provides the Lower Merion Township Department of Parks and Recreation its summer camp staff and many volunteers with an opportunity to give back to the Township's senior citizens. For over 30 years, summer camp staff and volunteers led by longtime, beloved Recreation Department employee Rosie Riley have cooked a picnic lunch for the Township's seniors. Rosie passed away in 2010, but her spirit lives on in the Jamboree that was renamed in her honor.
