Wet Snow Expected to Mix with Rain Through Wednesday Night

Accumulation is not expected to exceed an inch.

Snow was falling steadily Wednesday afternoon, with flakes getting larger as rush hour approached. But roads were mostly wet through Haverford, Ardmore and Wynnewood, though slippery in spots.

The National Weather Service is calling for continued snow through midnight, with light winds.

Thursday is forecast to be sunny with a high near 47, dropping to about 31 Thursday evening. Friday will be much the same.

Saturday could bring more snow—the NWS gives it a 40 percent chance, but does not specify about accumulation. Temperatures will drop into normal February range, however, with a high of 36 and a low Saturday night of perhaps 17.

Cold temperatures will continue through Sunday and Monday, at or below freezing, though both days are forecast to be clear and sunny.
