Friday

Recycling disposal has cost more this year, and recycled-paper resale has earned less, officials said.

Vendors will sell vintage dresses, upcycled furniture, creative art pieces, handmade soap, one-of-a-kind jewelry and more on Sunday.

Bryn Mawr, Villanova and Gladwyne also made Philly.com's list of the 10 wealthiest ZIP codes.

Thursday

Neighbors of an endangered Ardmore sanctuary want to see it converted to apartments. Residents in Gladwyne mostly opposed a similar plan on Righters Mill Road at Wednesday's township public hearing.

Stash, on Rittenhouse Place in Ardmore, will move to Lancaster Avenue on Sept. 26.

The Pa. Supreme Court will hear from opponents of the state's new Voter ID law on Thursday.

Wednesday

St. Joseph's University will buy the Cardinal's Residence, located off of City Avenue near Merion Station, from the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

"Forever Cheese" brand of Frescolina ricotta cheese is being recalled after 14 people—including one in Pennsylvania—were sickened by listeria-type illness

Tuesday

Last week, Merion residents returned home to find their home ransacked and a large amount of jewelry stolen, according to police.

Lower Merion students must take three Keystone Exams, and for the class of 2017 and beyond, passing grades are required for graduation.

Also, some mysterious stickers bearing the words "chocolate truck" showed up this week, according to police.

Monday

The 64-year-old Lafayette Hill resident became ill Aug. 19.

Dolobran Estate, located at 231 Laurel Lane in Haverford, was designed by American architect Frank Furness and built in 1881.

Haverford Township Police Department reported several thefts from the college in recent weeks.
