5 Things to Know: Aug. 13-19
A heads up for those who live or work in Ardmore, Merion and Wynnewood.
1. Two mosquito sprays in residential areas of Wynnewood will be conducted on Monday night between 8:30 and 11:30 p.m. on the location of the sprays and safety information.
2. Construction on Ardmore Avenue continues this week, Aug. 13 to 17. The work by Aug. 3. Expect lane restrictions at Ardmore Ave.'s intersections with County Line Rd. and W. Athens Ave. between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., according to a PennDOT traffic bulletin.
3. Other roads with possible lane restrictions this week: Lancaster Ave. at Wynnewood Road; Wynnewood Road at Athens Ave., Spring Ave. and County Line Rd., all for curb ramp reconstruction, and all between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., according to PennDOT.
