Soil Borings at Ardmore Station Parking Lot This Week

SEPTA will be working on the Ardmore Station parking lot overnight during the week of April 22-26.

SEPTA has announced that it will be conducting soil borings overnight at the Ardmore Train Station parking lot this week. The work is part of the Ardmore Transit Center project.

The work will be conducted between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. The work area will be protected by traffic cones and plastic fencing, if necessary, according to SEPTA.

According to SEPTA, American Geotechnical Inc. (AGI) will perform drilling at boring locations in the parking lot on the south side of the station.

"Boring holes will be backfilled with soil and capped with concrete when finished. The work area will be cleaned up after each day’s work," according to SEPTA.

The work will begin on Monday, April 22, at 7 p.m. and conclude on Friday, April 26, at 7 a.m.
