Record-breaking Heat Is Upon Us

The next three days will feel more like late August than early June.

The National Weather Service is warning the tri-state area of an excessive heat watch today, through Thursday evening.

Much of southeastern Pennsylvania, northern Delaware and west central New Jersey will experience very hot temperatures (between 95 and 100 degrees) and high humidity, the NWS says.

Tonight is expected to be mostly clear but uncomfortably muggy, with a low around 76. Thursday is expected to repeat today's temperatures, with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m.
