Anderson Ave. in Ardmore Closed to Pedestrians Friday

Work being done on the underpass has had the small street closed to cars from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. since Monday.

Lower Merion Township officials annonced that the Anderson Avenue Underpass in Ardmore will be closed to pedestrians Friday, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Workers will be clearing the area during the welding of I-beams on either side of the bridge.

Contractor Carr & Duff started electrical work on Monday (June 20), closing the intersection to vehicular traffic during the same hours on weekdays, work that will last for six to eight weeks.
