Author Visit, Park Plans, More To Know This Week

Five things residents of Ardmore, Merion, Wynnewood, Penn Wynne and Haverford should know the week of April 22-28.

1. Lower Merion School District's Board of School Directors will meet after a Communications Committee meeting on Monday, April 22. The committee meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the ardministration building's board room (301 E Montgomery Ave, Ardmore). The agenda will be posted here when available.

2. Do you use Shortridge Memorial Park in Wynnewood? Lower Merion Township wants to know what you think of the park. A workshop addressing the master plan for Shortridge Memorial Park, will be held Monday from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at St. Katherine Day School (930 Bowman Ave, Wynnewood).

3. Temperatures are expected to be down a bit this week, in the mid- to upper-50s and low-60s, according to the National Weather Service.
