Urgent Care Center Encourages Patients to Wait at Home....or Wherever They'd Like!

In this spirit, CareSTAT in nearby Havertown introduces a new app for smartphones that allows patients to literally get onto the waiting room tracker board without having to come into the center.  The app is called, "Skeeper."  Once downloaded onto an iPhone or Android device, the patient simply clicks, "Take a Number".  They then can track their progress on line and come in when they are number 1 or 2 -- it's that simple!

Who likes waiting in the waiting room with a bunch of sickies?  Um, hopefully no one.  Patients have other things to do with their time until it's their turn - and now they can.

Sprained ankle on the field? Open the app. Picking up a sick child at school? Open the app.  Not feeling well at work and don't want to leave until you need to?  Open the app.

CareSTAT realizes that waiting to see the doctor is sometimes inevitable in medicine, particularly during evenings, weekends and holidays.  However, now patients decide WHERE they'd like to wait - home, at work, in the car during a commute - it's up to the patient.

CareSTAT is always looking for ways to improve services offered to the community.  Serving the people of the Delaware Valley since 2011, our Doctors, Physician Assistants, Nurses, Medical Assistants, and Radiological Technologists stay true to our tagline: More Caring. Less Waiting.
