Former Ridley classmates reunite to do business together

HADDONFIELD, NJ -- Cheryl Squadrito, president of Media Friendly Public Relations in Haddonfield, NJ, is pleased to announce that the company has secured a new account, Rodriguez Consulting, a SBA 8(a)-certified, civil engineering firm that specializes in innovative designs and technology applications. Rodriguez Consulting has offices in Philadelphia and Mullica Hill, NJ.

The firm, operated by Louis Rodriguez, P.E, has signed on with Media Friendly, a company owned and operated by Squadrito, a former journalist for The Philadelphia Inquirer.   Media Friendly will be handling the local and regional media campaigns for the engineering firm.

Rodriguez is available to talk to the media about matters concerning small business owners, DBE, MBE, surveying, water resources and more. The firm offers a wealth of knowledge in the areas of geospatial (mapping), design (land development) and infrastructure (water, sewer, storm water, transportation), particularly in the Mid Atlantic region.

“Lou Rodriguez is an expert in the field with great advice to share. I look forward to helping them get in the media spotlight,” said Squadrito, who attended Ridley High School and Widener University with Rodriguez.  Until connecting recently on Facebook, the friends hadn’t spoken in years.

“Rodriguez has had a lot of success over the past seven years but we are not experts in public relations,” said Rodriguez, who resides in Williamstown, NJ. “We are looking forward to Media Friendly helping us to get our story out.”

Recently, Rodriguez Consulting hosted a surprise homecoming event for an employee who returned after being deployed in Afghanistan. In addition to serving on the board at the Greater Philadelphia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Rodriguez is an avid distance runner. He represented the Fairmount Park Conservancy in the upcoming Broad Street Run in Philadelphia earlier this month.
