Work Continues on Citron and Rose

Michael Solomonov's new restaurant venture in Merion will focus on glatt kosher cuisine.

Originally scheduled for a late summer opening, new Merion restaurant Citron and Rose has still not set an opening date, according to public relations rep James Narog.

Citron and Rose, the latest restaurant project from Zahav's Michael Solomonov, is located at 368 Montgomery Ave in Merion (down the block from Hymie's Deli). The restaurant will focus on upscale kosher cuisine with an Eastern European influence.

Work is progressing on the restaurant, and the team is currently in the process of hiring staff.

Narog said Citron and Rose is looking toward an opening later this fall.
