The Daily Meal adds: "If we could transport the vibe from Cheers — where everyone knows your name — it could only be found at Town Hall Coffee Co."

Owner Tim Noble found out about the recognition Wednesday night when the Inquirer's Michael Klein gave him a call at Town Hall and broke the news.

"I feel a real sense of satisfaction that we're doing good work for our customers and neighbors," Noble said. "I think we are aspiring to ideals common to every shop on the list, and we just try to provide a solid customer experience every time."

Town Hall will be opening its second location at 9th and Chestnut before the end of the month, and that location will include a fresh juice bar, Noble said.

As for the Merion location, a recent addition to the menu has been 12 Baskets cupcakes. (You can check out the deliciousness on Town Hall's Instagram.)
