St. James Adds Happy Hour Specials

The Suburban Square restaurant will have $1, $3 and $5 bar bites and $3 to $7 drinks.

Suburban Square's Saint James restaurant introduced a new happy hour menu this week. The restaurant will have $1, $3 and $5 bar bites and $3 to $7 drinks, according to a press release.

The sips and snacks are served daily from 3:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. and again from 9 p.m. until close.

“From dollar oysters with our fizzy Saint James Greyhound to our signature chicken wings with an ice-cold beer, this menu is a fresh twist on our style of American comfort food and a must-try for first-time guests and regulars alike,” said Chef Clark, who oversees the kitchen in cooperation with chef and owner Michael Schulson.

Happy Hour bites include: 

  • Oysters on the half shell
  • Crispy Pickles with horseradish-herb ranch
  • Spicy Tuna Slider with avocado, chili aioli, cilantro and cucumbers
  • Goat Cheese and Beet Flatbread with baby golden beets, tarragon and micro arugula
  • Shrimp Roll with semolina-crusted shrimp, red cabbage slaw, tarter sauce and tomato
  • Tempura Green Beans with Tabasco remoulade and lemon

  • $3 Beers, such as West Chester’s Box Car Original Ale on draught
  • $5 Wines such as La Terre cabernet sauvignon and Cello pinot grigio
  • $7 Cocktails such as the Gold Rush, whiskey with honey and lemon, and the Garden Margarita, tequila with strawberry and basil. 

Drink specials are available throughout the restaurant, while Happy Hour bites are served exclusively in the bar area.
