Restaurant Roundup: Primavera Pizza Kitchen to Le Petit Mitron

Patch reviews Primavera Pizza Kitchen, Hope's Cookies, Frankie's Cafe, Roller's at Flying Fish, New Lee Garden, Lotus Farm to Table, New Imperial Chinese Take-Out, Mango Moon, Silver Spoon and Le Petit Mitron

Looking for a good restaurant to go to this weekend?

Ardmore-Merion-Wynnewood Patch brought you the details of Primavera Pizza Kitchen Thursday. Helmed by a creative chef who loves it all, from basic sautéed mushrooms to a great bottle of Champagne, and really knows his way around the kitchen (he’s been cooking and baking since childhood), Primavera is a great place to check out. Peanut butter chocolate cookies, white Russian cookies and one of the best milkshakes around (even the low- and non-fat versions are good) make Hope’s the go-to spot for ice cream and treats. Click for the review.

A bona fide industry vet who loves Mahler, soft shell crabs and domestic lamb, this Penn graduate was one of the more fascinating people I have encountered. Click for the Meet the Chef.

An outstanding pork sandwich and pint specials at the bar are the draw here. Don’t be shy —it may be a dive according to some, but the friendly service and crew of regulars are worth checking out. Click for the review.

At the Garden you can get a decent plate of steamed chicken, vegetables and brown rice for under ten bucks. I still can’t believe there are so many healthy options here. I've eaten here for years and I just found out about the diet section. Click for the review.

Lotus boasts one of the best fish tacos I’ve had in a while, an impressive array of teas and the most beautiful bathroom sink I have ever seen. The sweet potato soup was also killer. Click for the review.

Not the fastest, but surely one of the cheapest Chinese places around, this take-out and delivery-only establishment has large portions. Click for the review.

Thai small plates and some large plates of noodles are the main draw here. Beware of the dim lighting, or maybe you prefer it that way? Click for the review.

An earthy, delicious mushroom soup with truffle oil was only the beginning. Fresh, well prepared food arrives with friendly service in a bright dining room with a gorgeous ceiling. Click for the review.

Exquisite pastries, baguettes and all your favorite things from Europe all under one roof. Grab some English tea, a French croissant and whatever else strikes your fancy. Click for the review.
