My bank - which of course I think is the best - isn't on the list: St. Edmond's Federal Savings Bank. I'm pretty sure it's in Ardmore - I'm not quite sure where Ardmore stops and Haverford begins.

You're right Anne. Thanks for the heads up. I've added it.

A reader pointed out that Bryn Mawr Trust was missing from the list. It has been added to the poll. Thanks!

One thing seniors should be aware of is the fact Bryn Mawr Trust is one of the very few banks in the area that offer an irrevocable burial trust account, not tied into any one funeral director. It involves extra work on their part, so many of the larger banks don't even bother. Most larger banks only offer a burial trust account tied into a local funeral director. That's not good. In your later years you may move to be with your children, or move to a retirement community, where there are different funeral directors. The Bryn Mawr account can be used anywhere with any funeral director.

Royal Bank America is great and located in the immediate area. Its corporate headquarters are located in Narberth.
