New Patch Launched in Tredyffrin-Easttown

The Chester County site expands Patch's coverage of the Main Line.

AOL Huffington Post Media Group’s newest hyperlocal news website is the TE Patch, covering Tredyffrin and Easttown townships in Chester County (te.patch.com).

The TE Patch is being helmed by , a veteran journalist originally from Wilmington, Del. (and a U.Del. grad), who has covered Capitol Hill, the White House and the Supreme Court for a national network of radio stations, along with radio and TV career stops as a writer, videographer and producer in Miami, Atlanta, and Los Angeles before returning home to the Delaware Valley. Bob spent most the past decade as a producer with CBS at KYW-TV / The CW Philly. (Meet Bob .)

Situated north of Radnor and south of King of Prussia, the TE Patch will cover communities that include Berwyn, Wayne and Devon—expanding Patch’s coverage of the Greater Main Line.

Monday was an auspicious day for TE Patch to start. AOL Patch also launched its first site first site covering a military community, Camp Pendleton in California, and announced its entrance later this year into New Hampshire, Iowa, and South Carolina—the first three primary states to hold primaries in 2012.
