Moms Eat Local: Kotatsu

Find out how kid-friendly Kotatsu in Ardmore is.

Moms know how tough it can be to eat out with little ones. Patch wants to help you know before you walk in the door if Kotatsu is a good place to eat with your children.

Restaurant: Kotatsu

Is there a kids’ menu? Yes, it includes chicken teriyaki, NY strip steak, filet mignon, shrimp teriyaki, salmon teriyaki and scallop teriyaki (prices range from $10.95 - $13.95)

Are there healthy options on the kids’ meal? The chicken and salmon teriyakis are healthy as is the filet mignon.

How does the restaurant deal with food allergies? Alert your server and they will try to accommodate you as best they can.

Is the restaurant so quiet that any childish outburst will draw attention or is there enough noise that a small cry is likely to go unnoticed? When we went in there was lots of loud music in the next room (we ate by the sushi bar) so small cries would not be noticed at all.
