Popcorn Recalled

Beware lactose intolerants: there may be undeclared milk in the popcorn.

Orville Redenbachers Ready-To-Eat Kettle Korn has been pulled from some shelves due to undeclared milk on the ingredient label, according to an announcement Giant posted on Patch.

An unnamed number of bags may have been accidentally filled with white cheddar flavored popcorn, which contains the milk.

Giant said it has received no report of illness yet related to the allergen, but the company adds that people with lactose intolerance can suffer severe, and even life-threatening, allergic reactions if they ingest milk products.
