The doggie costume contest will award prizes for most original, scariest, and funniest costumes.

Do you have a dog with a taste for the spotlight?

First Friday Main Line's sixth annual Howl-o-Ween costume contest will give local pups a chance to strut their stuff this Friday as they compete in the categories of most original, scariest, and funniest costumes.

The event runs from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Cricket Avenue in Ardmore and will feature local "celebrity" guest judges who will determine which pooches deserve a prize.
