Ardmore's Case Gallery Hosts Official Grand Opening

Tuesday evening's celebration was for the new venue that provides a venue for local artists to join forces with charitable organizations.

Case Gallery, Main Line, which opened for business over the winter, held its "Official Grand Opening" Tuesday evening at its new Lancaster Avenue space. The fine art photography and multi-media gallery backs artists who sponsor a non-profit organization in correlation with their exhibit.

Artist Shimon Braun's "Illuminating Paths" was showcased for the official opening. According to Braun,

"A path brings you to a place where your mood dictates what you feel, what you imagine," said Braun, who grew up in Israel and now resides on the Main Line. Case Gallery is a division of owner Ann Marie Casey AMC Photography. Casey didn't want to open a photography studio space that featured only her work, and "wanted to be able to utilize the walls for other artists."Aside from featuring local artists, Casey said she delights in being "able to reach out to international talent that have ties in the area."

Already booking into 2012, Casey said her new gallery is off to a great start, and will feature a variety of styles in mediums ranging from painting to photography.
