Suburban Square's Plate Restaurant Closes

Plate has recently shut its doors to the public, reports Philly.com. Plate has been serving up food and drinks to the Suburban Square community for 10 years.

The landlord had supposedly asked for a $10,000 increase in rent per month, according to Philly.com. Plate has already been paying approximately mid- $20,000 per month in rent, said owner David Mantelmacher to Michael Klein, of Philly.com.

An auctioneer has been hired to sell the restaurant's items on April 29.

The following items will be sold, according to auctioneer Barry S. Slosberg's website:
