Friday night, Linwood Park celebratd itw first anniversary by throwing a big neighborhhood party. There were garden tours by Chris Leswing (assistant director of planning for Lower Merion Township and a key figure in the creation of the park) , impromptu soccer games, massages from the folks at Ardmore's , goodies from .

But the big hit of the evening—for kids and grown-ups alike, were the dozens of hula hoops, brought along by Linwood Park friend Leah Troiano, who operates the online business LoopdiHoops.com. Leah is the one in the white top and black plants giving a freestyle lesson in how it's done.
