Rock for Recovery Benefit Concert

The Concert will be held Saturday, September 15 at Brownies 23 East in Ardmore, starting at 6pm.  Join us for live music, food, prizes and more!DescriptionBrain injuries have been in the news a lot lately. From sports –related concussions, to wounded warriors returning from combat, there is a new awareness about brain injury and its life-altering effects. Right here in Pennsylvania, there are over 240,000 people living with brain injury and more than 2,000 Pennsylvanians die from brain injuries each year.

The Rock for Recovery Benefit Concert will help raise awareness and promote safer choices, in an effort to decrease the incidence and severity of traumatic brain injuries. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Brain Injury Association of Pennsylvania – an organization dedicated to prevention of brain injury and to improving the quality of life for people who have experienced brain injury and their family members through support, education, advocacy, and research.

Most importantly, Rock for Recovery is a truly accessible event for people with mobility issues to party with their peers without having to stress about crowds, curbs, stairs and public bathrooms. Just a fun time with good music and good people.
