Maysie's Farmfest

WXPN welcomes Maysie’ Farmfest, taking place at Glenmoore, Pa on Saturday, September, 29, 2012, with a rain date of Sunday , September 30, 2012.  The concert is  featuring local music by Andres Lipke, Bad Hinton Band, Cheer Elephant, Griz, Hezekiah Jones,Hixiicochii, Kevin Keill, Kuf Knotz, Murchant, Sharon Little and Tim Bird Chior.

Maysie’s Farm Conservation Center is excited to be planning Maysie’s FarmFest 2012, our third annual Conservation Concert.  The goal of the FarmFest is to bring together the community to share great music, Gmo-free food and the benefits of the progressive food system.  Pop-up art exhibit, Bon Freakin' Appétit is a visual essay by NY Graphic Artist Donna Simons dealing with the complex health, environmental and ethical issues surrounding commercial farming.

Maysie's FarmFest 2012 is committed to being a totally solar powered event, producing only compostable or recyclable waste.    You may also visit them on facebook!
