Lower Merion Township Open House

Meet Freckles the Clown, have your face painted, see a Police K-9 exhibit and learn how to escape a smoke-filled room in the Fire Prevention Trailer at the annual Township Open House on Saturday, May 12th from 10 AM—1 PM. The parking lot at 71 E. Lancaster Avenue will feature interactive displays of Township departments and the equipment they use.

“This is a great event that offers something for the whole family,” remarked Doug Cleland, Township Manager. “Our younger residents thoroughly enjoy the police cars, motorcycles, fire engines and refuse trucks—and their parents get to see firsthand the many services provided through their Township taxpayer dollars.”

“The Open House will take place, rain or shine — and we hope that many residents and their families will mark their calendars and plan on attending,” said Michael J. McGrath, Superintendent of Police. For more information, contact the Lower Merion Police Department at (610) 645-6204.
