Ardmore Family Stars in 'Sound of Music'

The owners of Rittenhouse Electric will perform March 9, 10, 16 and 17.

Six members of the Elkins family, who own Rittenhouse Electric  in Ardmore, will debut this weekend in Temple Beth Hillel-Beth El's production of "The Sound of Music." The Elkins take the stage March 9, 10, 16 and 17.

A Patch calendar listing about the play reads:

Like the Von Trapp family in the Sound of Music, the Elkins family, owners of Rittenhouse Electric Supply located in Ardmore for the last 56 years, is a family of singers.  Six members of the family (three generations) are appearing in a local production of the Sound of Music-- March 9, 10, 16, and 17 at Temple Beth Hillel-Beth El in Wynnewood.
