During the First Friday festivities, Firinji handed out samples of a few of its menu items at Ardmore Initiative. Firinji, which means "baker" in Turkish, will feature internationally-inspired cuisine with Turkish roots. The menu focuses around a base of flatbread, kumpir (baked potatoes) and coffee, to which assorted toppings are added to create a variety of distinct dishes.

The featured food available for sampling at Ardmore Initiative on Friday night consisted of kumpir, seasoned pita-style chips and an all-fruit smoothie. Available toppings for kumpir and the chips included carmelized onions, corn salsa, tomato salsa, and shredded cheese, though a greater variety of options will be available from the restaurant once it opens in December, including wraps and sandwiches.
