Members' Art Exhibition

  • When: Ongoing through January 11, 2013
  • Where: Main Line Art Center
  • Why Go: Enjoy the Art Center's annual exhibition that celebrates the diverse and vibrant work of the Center’s talented Members. Each Member is invited to exhibit one piece of work in any media completed in the last 2 years.  Much of the work is for sale, making this an excellent opportunity to add to your own art collection or give the gift of art this holiday season.

Blood Drive

MilkBoy Coffee Presents: Ray G Ward & the Light and special guest Ward & McClee

  • When: Saturday, Dec. 29 at 8 p.m.
  • Where: MilkBoy Coffee
  • Why Go: Ray G Ward & the Light is a Folk Rock band based in central New Jersey. The band has steadily been gaining attention since early 2012 with the release of the "Welcome to the Real World" EP. Their songs have been featured on satellite radio and independent stations from New York to California.   Songwriter Ray G Ward is a Philadelphia area native and was once a regular at Milkboy Coffee’s Open Mic Night.  Ward & McClee, an acoustic duo which features Ray’s father and violinist Michael Ward, will open the show.  All ages welcome, BYOB 21+.

Strange as Angels Holiday Show

  • When: Friday, Dec. 28 at 8 p.m.
  • Where: Brownies 23 East
  • Why Go:Throughout the 1990’s, Strange as Angels was the Delaware Valley’s first and #1 alternative rock band; setting attendance records and creating a level of anticipation and excitement that transformed the club experience. SAA is gearing up to re-capture the spirit and unique brand of fun that can only happen at a Strange as Angels show. Bring an extra $10 to buy the all new SAA t-shirt, all net proceeds will go to the Red Cross/Hurricane Sandy relief fund.

Tot Rockin' New Year's Eve Party

  • When: Saturday, Dec. 29 from 10 a.m. - Noon
  • Where:
  • Why Go: Celebrate the holidays with your young ones at the Community Recreation and Environmental Center at the Haverford Reserve.  There will be music, light refreshments and a variety of games and activities.  Ring in the year at noon with a balloon drop.  Ages 2 - 8.
