A pair of pooches went missing in the Ardmore area last weekend, Patch has learned.
According to a Facebook page started after her disappearance, “Lily,” an 8 year old Bichon Frise (a picture of her breed is alongside the article), ran away from a dog sitter's house in Ardmore at 8:30 p.m. on April 14.
She was last seen around 11 p.m. that evening on Chestnut Avenue—near the Haverford Road intersection—in Ardmore. Her owner is out of the country, but anyone with any information is encouraged to post on Lilly’s Facebook page.

Also on Saturday, “Rosie,” a jet black female Labrador/hound mix, was lost. According to a Craigslist posting, the 45 pound dog slipped her color on the corner of Manoa and Harrogate Road when she took off after a rabbit.
She is described as extremely friendly with children and other dogs. A reward is being offered.
