Morning Update: Nearly 10,000 in Montco Still Without Power

At 10 a.m. Wednesday morning, more than 9,700 PECO customers in Montgomery County still were without power.

"Crews are currently assessing damage and making repairs throughout the region," PECO said. "Estimated restoration times will be available once crews have assessed damage to the system. PECO crews will continue to work around-the-clock to safely restore service."

PECO said it already had restored power to more than 160,000 following severe storms Tuesday night.

At 9:30 p.m. Tuesday night, more than 30,000 in Montgomery County were without power.
