Million-Dollar Lottery Ticket Sold in Montgomery County

The Mega Millions ticket is worth $1 million.

The Mega Millions jackpot continues to climb — the estimated winnings for Tuesday’s drawing are $195 million — but someone in our area is already $1 million richer.

A ticket sold in Pennsylvania was one of two for Friday night’s drawing that matched all five winning numbers but not the Mega Ball. NBC10 says that ticket was sold at the 7-Eleven on Sandy Hill Road in Norristown. The 7-Eleven will receive $5,000 for selling a winner, NBC said.

The other $1 million ticket was sold in Virginia, Mega Millions said.
