Main Line Health Hospitals Receive Top Marks

The new U.S. News & World Report rankings are out.

All Main Line Health acute-care centers have been named among the best in both the Philadelphia region and Pennsylvania as a whole by U.S. News & World Report, the company announced Tuesday.

The acute-care centers include Lankenau Medical Center, Bryn Mawr Hospital, Paoli Hospital and Riddle Hospital.

In the Philadelphia region, Lankenau was ranked fourth; Bryn Mawr 10th; Paoli 12th; and Riddle 14th.

Statewide, Lankenau came in at seventh; Bryn Mawr 16th; Paoli 27th; and Riddle 31st.

Lankenau Medical Center was also nationally ranked as one of the Top 50 hospitals for diabetes and endocrinology, Main Line Health said.

“This achievement is a testament to the commitment of our physicians, clinicians, employees and volunteers who provide a superior experience to our patients each day,” said Jack Lynch, president and CEO of Main Line Health. “This recognition is based on metrics that evaluate the quality of care delivered to our most complex patients, and demonstrates that patients do not need to travel far to receive high-quality, superior care. Main Line Health’s advanced technology and clinical care delivers innovative treatment options to patients in the communities we serve.”

Almost 5,000 hospitals were evaluated as part of the U.S. News rankings.
