Hometown Heroes Honored for Their Service

A number of the area's hometown heroes were honored Thursday night at the Main Line Chamber Foundation's fifth annual scholarship awards ceremony.
At the event some 43 scholarships totaling nearly $45,000 were awarded to volunteer firefighters and EMTs.
The ceremony also honored the 65 years of service of Berywn Fire Company's Bill Butler, and the 50 years of service of Narberth Fire Company's Bill Henderson.
