LMHS Fall Fair and Flea Market

  • When: Saturday, Oct. 27 from Noon - 4 p.m.
  • Where:
  • Why Go: Come support the LMHS Class of 2014 who are hosting a Fall Fair and Flea Market. In addition to a variety of great vendors, the afternoon features food and drink, face painting and other entertainment. The Lower Merion Aces will be taking on the Harriton Rams at the same time, so shop and stay to support your favorite team. 
  • Cost: Free

Artini: Young Friends Halloween Bash

  • When: Friday, Oct. 26 from 6:30 - 9 p.m.
  • Where: Main Line Art Center
  • Why Go: You can wear a costume, but leave the mask at home because Teaching Artist Gillian Pokalo will be leading everyone through the process of mask-making. Awards will be offered to the best (or creepiest) creation.
  • Cost: $15 Non-Member, Free for YF Members

  • When: Sunday, Oct. 28 at 3 p.m.
  • Where: Harriton High School, 600 N Ithan Ave, Bryn Mawr
  • Why Go: The Merion Concert Band opens its 33rd season on Sunday at the Harriton High School auditorium. The concert theme is “Music for Winds and Percussion” and the program features pieces written exclusively for symphonic wind bands, as opposed to music written for orchestras and later transcribed for wind instruments. Suburban Square Halloween Safety and Trick or Treat Event

  • When: Saturday, Oct. 27 from 1 - 3 p.m.
  • Where: Suburban Square Shopping Center
  • Why Go: Bring the kids out shopping in their costumes on Saturday. Suburban Square is hosting a Halloween safety event. Registration is in the courtyard where trick or treat bags and glow-in-the-dark bracelets will be distributed. Macy's is planning a Halloween craft event for their children's department on the 4th floor. They will have maps for all of the stores that are involved in trick or treating, including the Ardmore Farmers Market.
