Lower Merion Players present Godspell

  • When: Thursday, Nov. 15 - Saturday, Nov. 17 - All Performances at 7 p.m.
  • Where: Lower Merion High School
  • Why Go: Support high school theater.  The Lower Merion Players are presenting Godspell - a vibrant recreation of the Gospel of Matthew by Stephen Schwartz and John-Michael Tebelak. 
  • Cost:Student/Seniors - $6, Adults - $12

Christmas Tree Lighting

  • When: Saturday, Nov. 17, 4:30 - 7:30 p.m.
  • Where:
  • Why Go: Get in the holiday spirit at the courtyard by Macy's this Saturday. Enjoy hot chocolate and cookies, followed by a Christmas tree lighting. The first 200 people will receive a special gift from Macy’s.
  • Cost: Free

Christmas Bazaar

  • When:Saturday, Nov. 17, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
  • Where:
  • Why Go: Enjoy some holiday shopping. There will be an attic treasures booth, many books, vintage, gifts, plants, children's activities all day, food, silent auction and more.  All proceeds benefit Redeemer's Outreach Programs.
  • Cost: Free

The Main Line Antiques Show

  • When: Saturday, Nov. 17, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 18, 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Where:
  • Why Go: The Main Line Antiques Show is the only antiques show on the Main Line. The show features 30 dealers offering a wide selection of fine and decorative arts, jewelry, furniture and folk art. For additional information and special events, including the opening night party, please visit their website.

State Rep. Lawrence Curry: Implications of Presidential Election

  • When: Sunday, Nov. 18, 2 - 4 p.m.
  • Where: Levering Mill House, 327 Levering Mill Rd, Bala Cynwyd
  • Why Go: State Rep. Lawrence Curry (D-154), who has served in the Assembly since 1992, will speak about the Implications of the Presidential Election at the Sholom Aleichem Club meeting this Sunday.  The meeting is open to the public.
  • Cost: Free

Outdoor Green Scavenger Hunt

  • When: Sunday, Nov. 18, 1:30 - 3 p.m.
  • Where: Community Recreation and Environmental Center (CREC)
  • Why Go: Join with family and friends for a good - hearted outdoor scavenger hunt. We will travel around the open space of the Haverford Reserve and discover the different environmental features that make the area so great! Great activity for families and groups with children over the age of 6. Activity includes a bit of walking. 
  • Cost: $5 per person or $15 per family/group
