A Dartmouth College student originally from Wynnewood died Friday evening following a sudden illness, NBC10 reported.
Blaine Steinberg was a junior at Dartmouth and an alumna of Penn Charter, NBC said.
Steinberg “fell ill and passed away suddenly this evening at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center,” Dartmouth President Phil Hanlon wrote in an email sent to students and staff Friday night, according to the Valley News in New Hampshire. Hanlon also wrote that the school had been in touch with Steinberg's family.
It was unclear what caused Steinberg's death.
Steinberg played lacrosse for Dartmouth during her freshman year, the Valley News said.
