Fall Begins: The Week Ahead in Lower Merion and Narberth

Check out a civic association meeting in your area.

Good Monday morning, Lower Merion and Narberth residents. Here are a few things worth knowing about the week of Sept. 16-22, 2013:

  • Sunday will mark the first day of fall. The National Weather Service forecast for summer's last week calls for highs in the high 60s to low 80s and overnight lows in the high 40s to mid-60s.
  • Civic association meetings this week: Bryn Mawr at 7:30 p.m. Monday (Bryn Mawr Community Center), Shortridge/Wynnewood at 7:30 p.m. Monday (St. Katherine's Day School) and Penn Valley at 7:30 p.m. Thursday (Penn Valley Elementary).
  • Narberth's planning commission meets at 7:30 p.m. Thursday to discuss the development proposal for the Narberth United Methodist Church property.
  • Lower Merion's board of commissioners meets at 8 p.m. Wednesday. Find committee and full-board agendas here.
