Composer, Francis Poulenc, composed music to the wonderful children's story of Babar the Elephant at the request of his niece who was tired of the "other stuff he played all the time". Story has it that his niece placed her copy of the book on his piano upside down and said "play this". We are lucky to have Barbara Browne playing the piano and narrating this lovely suite again for a repeat performance. People of all ages will delight in the story of Babar!
