Understanding Israel through the Lenses of Time, Vision and Culture
An Introduction to the Holy Land
Join us for a lively discussion as we try to understand the history of Israel and the surrounding region; look at the vision of the early Zionist thinkers and how that plays out (or does not play out) in Israel today; and examine how Israeli culture addresses core identity issues. This series will be presented by Julian Resnick, who was born in South Africa and made aliyah to Israel in 1976. He currently serves as the Central Shaliach to Habonim Dror North America and has led specialized Jewish travel initiatives for a wide variety of groups. Main Line Reform Temple, 410 Montgomery Ave., Wynnewood. 610-649-7800
