What Would You Like To See Here?
Lower Merion Township's retail coordinator has her own thoughts on what should fill this vacant storefront.
What business would you like to see move into this vacant store front on Lancaster Avenue in Ardmore?
The 21 E. Lancaster Ave. storefront was vacated by Weight Watchers when it moved about four months ago, and has been empty ever since.
"We are seeking a retailer who has products to sell," said Heidi Tirjan, retail coordinator for Lower Merion Township. "It would be great to have a home accessories store in there—that's really a focus for Ardmore."
What kind of business do you think should move into this storefront? Do you agree with Tirjan? Tell us in the comments.

A decent restaurant. Small, delicious mexican-inspired, top quality, BYOB. WIth great service.

I would LOVE to see a Mexican restaurant here (or at least somewhere in Ardmore). For the food mecca that Ardmore is becoming, it's surprising that the Mexican options are so slim.
My original thought for this space was frozen yogurt—there's some down at Saxby's, sweetgreen and Yapple Yogurt in Wynnewood, but I feel like a froyo place on Lancaster Ave. would get good traffic, and it wouldn't need a big space. (And it would be within walking distance of my apartment, so that would be a plus!)

We need a different type of restaurant; namely, a healthy restaurant with grass fed beef, free range chicken and veal. Something good and healthy.
